1. Product Description

Sustaign produces handmade, sustainable panels/products crafted from 100% recycled

polypropylene. Each panel is made to order in your preferred color combinations and

custom dimensions (standard size: 1150 x 2350 mm).

Due to the artisanal process, every panel features a unique pattern – no two are the

same. While we work within the chosen color palette, the final look is always a surprise

and an inherent part of the product's character.

The visible side of the panel is finished, sanded, and polished. The underside (non-visible

side) is left rough for optimal adhesion and may contain air bubbles. These air bubbles

are a normal feature of the recycled material and do not count as a defect, unless

explicitly agreed beforehand that they need to be filled due to visibility in the final

application.

Please note: pricing is based on finishing the visible top side only. The underside is not

included in polishing or sanding.

2. Structural Responsibility (Third party)

Sustaign can supply loose product components (such as tabletop parts or panels), but

the structural support and assembly remain the responsibility of third parties involved in

the project, such as interior builders or contractors.

It is essential that the material is properly reinforced to prevent bending or deformation

over time. Sustaign strongly advises reinforcement on all sides and the full underside,

At minimum 15 cm from each edge inward.

If the material is not supported according to these guidelines, and deformation or

sagging occurs, Sustaign cannot be held responsible. The responsibility lies with the

party executing the final installation or construction.

Information about suitable adhesives is available in our catalog. Sustaign panels bond

well with several types of glue as specified.

3. Color & Pattern Variations

Recycled materials naturally result in minor color or pattern differences between

batches. Especially with repeat orders, slight variations are to be expected and are not

grounds for complaint or return.

4. Sample Colors & Custom Colors

In some cases, a color has been previously developed and may be reused without the

need for a new color sampling process. However, if a new custom color is required, this

will incur a sampling fee of €450 excl. VAT, including two 500 x 500 mm samples for pre-

approval.

5. Delivery Time

Delivery time depends on order volume and current production capacity. Exact lead

times will be communicated per order. Any issues or defects must be reported within 10

calendar days of receipt. After this period, claims will not be accepted.

Normal wear and tear, improper use, or alterations by third parties are not covered

under any warranty.

6. Payment Terms

A 60% deposit is required to initiate production. The remaining 40% must be paid within

14 days of delivery. Sustaign reserves the right to charge statutory interest and

collection costs in case of late payment.

7. Packaging & Transfer of Risk

Products are delivered on a pallet and shipped via a third-party carrier arranged by

Sustaign. Sustaign is responsible for the products during transport and ensures they are

properly packaged and protected.

Responsibility and risk transfer to the buyer upon delivery at the agreed location. Any

visible transport damage must be reported to Sustaign within 48 hours of delivery,

including clear photos and a description of the issue. Damage reported after this period

may not be eligible for compensation.

8. Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure (e.g. strikes, natural disasters, or supplier delays), Sustaign

reserves the right to postpone delivery or cancel the agreement without liability. The

buyer will be informed as soon as possible in such events.

9. Agreement Duration

These terms are valid for one year from the date of agreement. They may be extended or

modified by mutual written consent.

10. Acceptance of Natural Variations

By placing an order, the buyer acknowledges that:

Each panel/product is handmade and therefore unique in pattern and appearance

Air bubbles on the underside are a normal material characteristic, not a defect

Only if agreed in advance will visible air bubbles be filled as part of the finishing

The underside is not included in finishing, sanding or polishing

Structural reinforcement is the responsibility of the buyer

11. Privacy Policy

Sustaign stores your personal data solely for communication and processing your order.

We do not share data with third parties. Your information will be retained until the

project is completed, or slightly longer if follow-up is required
